Music on the Marr is a festival for the whole family. We celebrate great music, diversity and excellent entertainment for all.
Real music by real musicians, real comedy by truly funny people and real ale by local brewers. Good food, good drink, outstanding hospitality and lots and lots of smiling are more than encouraged, we just can’t help ourselves.
We are an inclusive festival we would like to encourage young people to enjoy live entertainment, therefore all accompanied children under 16 years old will have FREE access to the entire festival.
All our venues are seated except the school hall. It is fully wheelchair accessible. You may find a bench seat if you cannot stand. Ask our stewards if you need assistance with this. It may mean that your view is restricted. We cannot guarantee you will get a seat in seated venues.
Music on The Marr will take place on The Marr (village green) in Castle Carrock, four miles from Brampton in Cumbria. We are here……
The village hosts a beautiful public house ‘The Duke of Cumberland’ see their website.
Music on the Marr is produced and directed by Geltsdale Arts Ltd – a not for profit organisation (Company Number 76316710) in collaboration with Carlisle Folk and Blues Club.
