Getting to Castle Carrock

Music on the Marr takes place on the village green (Marr). The best post code to use is CA8 9LU.

The festival takes place adjacent to the Duke of Cumberland pub.

Unfortunately there is no public transport in and out of the village. The closest railway station is Brampton Junction which is 3.4 miles to Castle Carrock. This is on the main line from Carlisle to Newcastle and has a very reliable service, national rail services will have the timetables available on their website.  

If you prefer to travel by bus, the 685 bus service from both ends of Hadrian's Wall are available. They will take you to Brampton and you could get a taxi from there to Castle Carrock.
